you know what, with a 2500 budget, you should try and explore your country first. in my country, there is a promo of the department of tourism with a slogan "HUWAG MAGING DAYUHAN SA SARILING BAYAN (DON'T BE FOREIGNER IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY)". i guess it is a nice oppurtunity to get to know your country more and who knows, you might discover something in your country that you're going to like so much. Well, that is my cheapest advice and most practical.
but if you wan't to go out of the country, i don't know which country you are from but try the countries near yours. the nearest you are the cheaper the expenses are (airfare wise) and less hassles you get because of other countries which require a visa and all that stuff.
and since i am a filipino, i suggest you come to the Philippines and try boracay, palawan, puerto galera, and dakak.

if you're going alone stick to a country who's language you can understand. if you happen to know german I would recommend germany, I lived there for several years and it is a great country, gorgeous scenery and lots of castles to see.

CHINA get cheap as heck stuff.. of course u have to mail it out(well dont gota I guess but its cheaper and easier) but you can get tons of stuff
