If you have to ask on Yahoo answers what tattoo you should get, you shouldn't get any. You shouldn't just arbitrarily pick a tattoo, they're permanent. Also alot of the chinese symbols aren't portrayed accurately. Also, there was a big discussion about women with tattoos on WMMR 93.3 in Phila PA and all the men agreed that women with tattoos are not as respected as women without. It's a fact, every last man they asked said they didn't have as much respect. Just something to think about.

This is three seperate tattoos?
why dont you go down to the tattoo shop and look at the walls. Talk to the artist about what you like give examples of what you seeand talk to them about trying to incorporate all of it.
My interpretation of your idea would have a fairy standing in a bed of faveorite flowers holding an orb with the symbol in it.
You mentioned forgetting things.. well a good flower to use would be the forget me knot . incorporate the tribal in them where you would have leaves forming a flower bed for your fairy to rest on.
this would be a good tattoo for a lower to middle back position, or an arm shoulder to elbow position.

My advise is change your plans and don't get a tattoo. I understand that you love your Grandmother. I love mine too, and those we love are already tattooed in our hearts. Youth is sometimes impetutious and melodramatic. Some thing's we think are "Cool" today we may not tomorrow. In life there is enough that just "Happens". At best, hard as we may try, we will make mistakes. There will be plenty of accidents and hurts and words we can't take back. There will be spilled milk to cry over and could've, would've, should'ves. Unplanned and unavoidable regrets. Tattoo's are something you might like today and not tomorrow...or ten years from now. The bad thing's about this irreversible decision is that you won't have anyone to blame but yourself, it is TOTALLY unnecessary in order to be "Cool". And hey! It is IRREVERSIBLE. You will change. Why would you want something so superficial, so trivial, so useless really..."That you CAN'T take back". Ask yourself, and really think about it before you answer, "Why would I consider willingly doing something this unnecessary and this permenent to myself?" Don't set yourself up for uncontrol. Life supplies us with enough uncontrollable situations. Don't do it 'cause you don't need it and you might regret it...and there's not a darn thing you could do about it.

Ok, first of all most of the "chinese" characters are Japanese in meaning. Second, it would be better to get a tattoo that is meaningful to you instead of something you just think is "cool". And finally, no one on here can really give sound advice if they don't know you personally.

I'm just giving my opinion but I think the cross/grandma thing sounds uber lame and how sure are you the Chinese symbol foe love is just that? Whatever you have could mean jackass in Japanese.

Neither. Would your grandma approve of you marking up your body to remember her?? Doubtful !! The memories of her being happy & not in pain should suffice.
A tattoed body goes nowhere but straight to hell.
Guess you can wave to her in heaven from the fiery pits when you get really lonely though.

i would say get the cross.
I think the chinese character tatoos are a little passé. It kinda looks dated, like it's from the 90s.
The grandma's name would be timeless and have more meaning. No one would ever tell you it was "bad" or anything. Just get a nice looking design.

better go for an indian love tattoo, because India is the only country in the world where 'Kamsutra', the sex guide was written and India taught the world how to have great sex. Have one tattoo on ur back and another on ur breast and the third near ur thighs...
