i know that when we close our eyes when we are french-kissing it is the way to feel passion but how come it is the normal way, i mean we can also open our eyes... imagine our eyes open when we are kissing... hehehehe

We always close our eyes when sending a French Kiss so that it should not get disturbed even if another person comes in the way!
More Persons French-kissed, more gain! 2 or more birds in one stone!

I think its the awkwardness of looking like a Cyclops to the other person. U are so close to this other person, like not even millimeters away, but yet you cant say anything to break the silence because you're sucking face. So in order to avoid that, u just close your eyes. It does make it more passionate too.

By closing your eyes, you are allowing your other senses to take over.
The feel, the smell, the touch...
They're are all important when it comes to passion. Sight isn't.
Otherwise nobody would ever kiss an ugly person.

Because french-kissing is supposed to be for people who are in love. And when you're in love there's no need to look at the other person when you kiss them. Only people who kiss just to kiss, they aren't in love, they might love each other, but they are not in love, they usually kiss with their eyes opened.

People do it both ways. I think that people who close thier eyes do it so they can concentrate on the specific sensation more fully. With eyes open your brain is processing two different types of stimulation - this can be more exciting or less depending on the person.

It just makes for an awkward/uncomforable situation to be staring at each other in close proximity while kissing, or even for that matter, most of us ( I'd like to think) don't find ourselves doing this when we are not kissing lol...

i don't know to me i think it is just rude to look at the person you are kissing with your eyes open unless you don't really give a damn about them then you can open your eyes. but i don't i close them.

I think most people close their eyes during any kind of kissing because it is not polite to stare :)

because our eyes would go cross eyed while kissing, then we'd stifle a laugh and the kiss wouldn't be as yummy as it is with the eyes closed.
