It took me over 50 years to really know myself and when I did I finally didn't care what others thought of me. I wasted so many years trying to be what others thought I was and when I knew what I wanted and wasn't afraid to just be me, I found myself sleeping better and able to say no when I meant no, and when someone says "how are you?", I'm not afraid to say horrible, if I have a cold or just spent two hours in rush hour traffic, I just can't find myself giving an answer to somone of what they want to hear and not what I really feel. You feel freer, at least I do.

I know myself so well. I can make an educated guess on my previous life. I'm fascinated with the sound of horns, I love to compete in sports, I live for the battle, even in a fight with the odds against me. I'm not really an emotional guy, I'm very strategic in everything I do, I sometimes daydream too much and my mind gets into a zone of peace and serenity, I feel like I'm literally in heaven sometimes after looking up to the sun, or admiring the seasons. My only guess is maybe I was a warrior at one point of time in my life. People who had to battle all the time usually embrace peace more easily than others because they're used to fighting all the time physically or spiritually. I fall into this category. I know myself and I even know what I once was before this life. Or could be an angel fighting for God's kingdom. Take your pick I don't care.

Every time I think I know myself, I change a little bit, and I have to reassess. We are all in a state of flux. We are time travelers hurtling into the future at the rate of one second per second.

People will never really know themselves. People change over time. We are constantly having to redefine ourselves. We are having to keep up with the changes in our lives and in our surroundings. It is a lot to deal with.

ummmm yeah
no one knows them selves! fully!
we are all human minds being influenced by something, tv, parents, life itself.
We are brains that absorbe what is around us. We are all human and we all absorbe what we want.
If you knew every thing then you would know yourself.
How do you know if you like pizza if you have never had it!
