i just typed in a question and when i was done a message popped up that said please dont use all capitals it's rude. i just think that is weird what is so rude about it ? who would get offended by that?

I don't think there is ANYTHING wrong with it! Some people are just too touchy. They think everything is a threat to them somehow. I'd say ignore them, they obviously have no self-esteem.

See -- isn't reading the same sentence written in correct format more appealing to the eye?
All caps is more intense, more bold, more in your face.
It's just a standard that has become an unwritten rule in our society. Just like raising that one finger is considered a rude gesture.

When a person is emailing or messaging, all capitols indicate that a the words are being yelled, and that's considered rude.
Doesn't bother me, though; go ahead.

Typing in all caps online means you are yelling! Since yelling at people is rude, so is typing in all caps. :)

i don't like capital letters cos it seems rude...in internet capital letters are used to show savage behaviour.
