Maybe you've got a medical condition. I once knew a guy who ate alot and was very skinny, because he had a stomach problem. His body just wasn't absorbing enough of what he ate, and it just passed right through. I don't think he had a cure.

If you're just scrawny, you should think about lifting weights. Muscle weighs more and makes you look bulkier. You could also think about using diet supplements and whatnot, to add bulk. A nutrition store guy would probably help you, though you might get ripped off. And the guy I knew did that, and it still didn't help. I personally thought the guy looked pretty good, being skinny like that. But he didn't like it. He was actually fairly strong, but didn't look strong. But I'm not sure if he really used the supplements that he had, and I know he didn't lift weights.

If nothing else, try smoking pot. It works for cancer patients and might work for you. But you didn't hear that from me. Besides, I think that's just for people with a loss of appetite, and if you eat alot already, that probably won't help you.

I think its a problem many faces when they dont know abt diet.
Yr metabolism rate is definately high as all said and u got to look for proper diet also.
I think u got to eat more protein in yr food. Eat eggs a lot and drink lots of milk. Join gym and work out regularly. Irregulrity in life also causes some problems in health.
Sleep atleast 8 hrs a day and drink lots of water.

Iam a physical trainer and u can contact me on tutul_chakraborti@yahoo.com

Type A personality, highly active, hyper, people usually can eat a horse a day, nothing helps... Hint most people would kill to be like you, so get plenty of good mixed exercise, get strong, enjoy life. put that hypermetabolism to good use.. you will get old soon enough, don't push it.. But, this usuallly works, fasting 2 to 3 days every 3 weeks. Your metabolism slows down when you go into metabolic acidosis(fasting), then when you go to refeed after you are very hungry all the insulin you produce converts most of that food into fat for storage... I do not reccommend it, it can cause permanent changes, and problems

You may have a high metabolism, which means you eat a lot, but you burn calories at a faster rate. Here is a website telling you about having a high metabolism and how to gain weight healthy.

You probably have a very high metabolism. I am 20, female and I weigh only 106, and am 5'4". My dad has a very high metabolism, he is 6'4" and is basically skin and bones, he's 50 and lots of times has gorped out on foods, to gain nothing. That's just my idea though of what it may be.

You most likely have a high metabolism. When you eat, try eating starchy foods such as breads and pasta for example. Or you can try drinking a high calorie drink like Ensure. Taking a daily vitamin helps as well.

Fear and Hate are very bad on your metabolism...they use a lot of energy.

Also, over consumption of whiskey and beer redirects the nutrients in your food to waste.
