Italy vs France final. Germany is the weakest out of final 4 teams, followed by Portugal. Germany has never beaten Italy in World Cup play plus Italy is stacked with the best "D" (defence) in the world, not to mention Italy thumped Germany 3 months ago 4-1. I think the result will be either 2-0 or 3-0 Italy.
France has Ribery, Zinedan, Viera, and O' Henry in top form. They will beat cheeky Portugal by a goal in regulation time.

I really hope Germany will make through the final and win the cup. But, France and Italy have potentials...but Italians cheated their way (referring from fake fouls they created...). Top contender: Germany vs France. Portugal can wait for next World Cup, because it's still a young team.

I believe that Italy is the BEST team, has the BEST defense, BEST goalkeeper and if they don't win, then the games are being fixed behind the scenes. This will be especially true if Germany ends up winning! Final ought to be Italy vs. Portugal. With Italy at the Helm on Sunday

I have a feeling its going to be Germany and France in the final. I would love to see Germany win on their home soil. I have heard the World Cup Germany has put on is one of the best organized World Cups ever.
I am hoping Italy walks away with at least the bronze, after the indictments and the attempted suicide of the general manager of Juventus (a close friend of many of the members of the team since many of them play for Juventus) those boys should walk away with something positive.
The underlying thing is some of them may be involved in the match fixing scandal.... but I still want Cannavaro to get something since he has been fantastic to watch the entire tournament and in my opinion is the best defender and captain in the World Cup this year, he has has so much pressure on him and he has done the whole things with dignity and humanity.
