time is just a convinient way of measurement of things that were, are &would be.so basically there was no unit to measure it .AND talking about space according to the law of conservation of energy & matter things can neither be created nor can be destroyed.it can be converted from one form to another.therefore to create this dimension of space there got to have another dimension of space for the conversion.

There isn't always a a beginning and an end. Look at a ring, or the equator of the Earth; where do they begin or end? But if time did begin, then "before" time is timelessness, a situation most likely incomprehensible to the human mind, whether created or evolved.

More likely a very expansive dark void, where time "ticked" on, but there was no living humans to record it. Then....the single firey violent explosion ripped the void clean in two (or more, speaking in dimentions), where all chaos tore loose, and the spill out of that energy began to form galaxies.....eventually forming our own, complete with a very neat solar system--and Earth.
