I am not sure whether my blood pressure increases when my body temperature is so hot, and i am concerned because I have heard that people can die if their blood pressure increases in their sleep.

I was in a similar situation with my ex-husband. His body temperature rose during rest, but my body temperature fell during rest. He was hot...I was not...lol. We eventually just naturally adjusted to it, and it was all good.

Unless he's going to check your blood pressure while you're sleeping, I'm not too sure how to get that reading, but, I would probably at the VERY least, use one of those blood pressure machines that sit outside the pharmacies. I hear they are pretty accurate.

First, check your heart rate sometime during the middle of the night - Make sure your heartrate is between 60 - 90 (The lower the better, if it's too high or too low (too low as in the 30's), you need to see a doctor).

If your heart rate is doing well, you may need to consult a doctor / physician about this problem. Reduce your salt and protein intake for a day and see if this helps.

All the best.

I always had very low blood pressure, and would heat up like a furnace at night. I don't know what caused it, but it wasn't related to blood pressure.

Get to the doctor and get it checked. Could be anything, but not normal. Usually your body temp goes down not up. Could be hormonal and they have medications to help that.
