do i have to use s-video to hook up my laptop to my tv?

cause i dont want to use it and if theres something else to hook it up tell me

cause i want to see a movie in my tv thats y and i dont want to use s-video thing

if i am not mistake there is a converter for s-video to RCA. check radio shack or best buy. but its easyer to use s-video. are you doing this for movie watching ? if so use s-video and plug in bigger speakers or get the 2.55mm to 6mm jack or what ever size of the speaker plug you have.

you could buy a cable that changes the s-video into a normal Video connection.
