Its best to wait. I'm 17, an upcoming senior in high school... and I'm a virgin. I have a boyfriend that I've been with for 6 months (he's a virgin too); we've decided to wait until at least a year... or more and if we do have sex we have planned to use two methods of birth control: a condom to help from STDs (which we don't have, but its always better to be safe than sorry) and pregnancy also "the pill" to help from pregnancy. Although I advise you to wait until marriage like I plan to; I do not think that abstinence is very practical in our day-in-age. The best advice that I can give you is to try to wait, but if you can't; make sure that you use at least two methods of contraceptive, you don't have to necessarily use the two that I stated earlier in my answer (the pill and a condom). You can explore your options...I do not advice you to use the patch because it has many health risks and is not safe. Also, be careful who you decide to have sex with: make sure it isn't someone who has had multiple partners and most of all, make sure that the person actually CARES ABOUT YOU! I don't know if you and your partner just want to "do it" to get it over with but, make sure you don't do it for this reason. Just be careful!

I'm not gonna lie. I had sex when I was 14. ALMOST 15 but I guess that doesn't count. I'm older now and I don't regret it. BUT I was truly in love with the person, he was my first and last. Do it ONLY if you are certain you're ready. I think that I was too young now that I look back, but no one can tell you if you are ready or not. Nor can anyone stop you.

JUST BE CAREFUL!!!

No it is way to young. And I am sure you are not informed about the consequences. You should wait a couple years and read about everything that will go wrong and also talk to experience people.

No it's definitely not. You're too young and there are many many emotional and physical complications and consequences when you have sex too early. When you're absolutely ready to deal with all of them, then you're ready to have sex, any doubts, then you're not ready yet.

As long as no one knows, and no one gets pregnant. Cause it's illegal. And if your parents found out they would be furious. I wouldn't recommend having sex at an early age. People who do. Especially girls. Usually regret it.

It is okay to have sex when you are prepared to deal with the possible consequences. Could you handle having a kid?
