I hope so. I've had enough of him here in the Motor-D. His offensive game is too weak, and it cost us a title this year.

He meets with the Bulls in Chicago today (July 2nd)- They can begin negotiations now..but a deal cannot be made until July 12th- But all signs are pointing to Chicago if Big Ben doesn't land back in Detroit next season- Wallace is an unrestricted free agent meaning he can sign with whoever he wants..so ultimately its up to him. Chicago is one of the few teams with enough cap space to sign him- with a good young backcourt and frontcourt, with plenty of scoring Wallace would fit in very nicely for the Bulls. Right now it is expected that he will re-sign with Detroit- but, the Pistons are likely offering a 12-14 million dollar offer, while Chicago could offer a 15-17 million dollar deal and possibly entice him into the windy city. As I said it will come down to his decision- I have also heard a rumor that Detroit may sign him only to then trade him to Chicago for Tyson Chandler- but I don't think that will happen..

greatest income the Bulls get is that Ben Wallace isn't on the Pistons and they did not get something in go back to interchange him. there's a huge hollow contained in the Pistons rotation and they do no longer have the cap room to flow after gamers who can help. With the way the revenues cap is they in person-friendly words have mid-exception and characteristic to wish that they could get a participant for it. Detriot could thoroughly retool the way they play basketball and their lack of intensity pretty at center is going to seize as a lot as them. by utilizing taking Ben Wallace, Chicago has no longer in person-friendly words made the Pistons only a center of the %. playoff team without danger of a championship. without accessible championship the Pistons are previous with over 1/2 of their cap tied up with Rasheed Wallace, Prince and Hamlinton all making $10 million a 12 months with Billups stepping into the merely right 12 months of his deal.

personally i think they should.. big ben is the best defensive big man available right now in the market which incidentally chicago desperately needs. they already have a fine ( but not great) backcourt defenders, having ben wallace defend the paint would definitely give chicago respect when it comes to defense., something they lack when tyson chandler manned the paint. no, im not questioning chandler's defensive skills, its just that he is a natural PF, so playing him as center just shows how desperate coach skiles is. bottomline is nevermind the poor shooting of ben wallace lets just think of it as just what the doctor prescribed...

I hope not. They've already committed a huge contract to Tyson Chandler, and they don't need to lock up all their salary with two players. I would rather see them acquire a second tier player like Chris Wilcox. That way they would still have money to pursue someone (if needed) around the All-Star break.

I think they will, Chicago has the cap space, they are in desperate need of a defensive center, and Detroit wants to free cap space for Bonzi.

Detroit will regret when they play big games against Miami, Boston, or Orlando, teams that have dominate big men.
