It depends on the platform your webpage is based on, because if you currently need to reprogram (which i'm interpreting as adding a HTML string in the page code so the page accesses and displays the item you want) the page for every item, then it is not likely to ba a drag and drop platform, and therefore if you want a drag and drop feature you will need to overlay the code for such a feature ontop of your current page design. This can be done, but it's going to have to be programmed in, which means doing more of the thing you don't want to do now, to save time reprogramming later.

Instead of fussing with all that bulldust, use a web page provider with drag and drop already in place, and it doesnt have to be MySpace if you don't like them. You can drag and drop the entire contents of your current pages to the new provider in one go, and regularly post from then on with ease. Geocities is a little more featured than MySpace, but this means more programming required, and you want "the simpler, the better" so perhaps you could go with a service that is offered at a cost, thereby paying for the ease of use. I think Google have something like this in the works at the moment, thats very easy to use and comes at a small fee, but thats a rumour I picked up somewhere.

Hope that helps ya.
Good luck!
