My brother played football in college with Antwan Randle El of the Pittsburgh Steelers and a few other guys in the NFL, I spent many of crazy night hanging out at the dorm with a bunch of them. Tom Petty is my friend's uncle. While working at a ski shop in Beavercreek, Colorado, my brother met Kelsey Grammar, Britney Spears, and the Prince of Saudi Arabia. My best friend partied in Cincinnati with Nick Lachey a long time ago during the 98 degrees days and I got to see the pictures. =-) Two years ago during a concert at Ohio State, Wyclef Jean jumped up on the wall right in front of me, knocked a beer onto my foot while my roommate and I were helping him up on the wall and he shook my hand and apologized to me and performed the rest of his set right in front of me. AND last but not least...Bizzy Bone and Bow Wow used to come into my work all the time.

As a child I had the opportunity to meet many of the great country music stars such as Buck Owens, Roy Clark, Porter Wagoner, Dolly Parton, Jeannie C. Riley. In my teen years I met Mickey Rooney and Phil Donahue. In my twenties I spoke with Barry Manilow during a concert. I've also met Earl Campbell (Houston Oilers), Fabio, and Todd Washington (Houston Texans). Although we didn't speak I was seated behind George and Barbara Bush at a sporting event (after he left office).

I met Flip Wilson back in '72. He was filming in Perris Ca, and I was the morning cook at the only restaurant within 15 miles or so. The place wasn't open yet, it was about 4am. I heard a knock on the front door, so I left the kitchen to see what was up, and there he was. He shouted through the locked door and asked if he and his crew could get some coffee. I was more than happy to give them all the coffee and donuts they wanted. I wouldn't take any money from them, and about a month later my boss got a letter from him thanking me. It was posted by the cash register for years. It was cool.

My brother-in-law once bartended at a bar in savannah ga and he, my sister, and me were there at the bar when a cast party for a movie was held and I met Demi Moore, Bruce Willis, Rosie O'Donell and Melanie Griffith. After the bar closed, my BIL and Demi Moore and Bruce Willis went to the local Dunkin Donuts. Three weeks later, my sister meets Ben Affleck! Also, I went to school with Asa Anderson, Miss Georgia, and Sterling and Shannon Sharpe of the NFL. And David and Chrisite Brinkley are cousins of my mother.

Yes, and I think the majority of them are ASSHOLES. Not b/c they don't want to sign autographs (I would never stoop so low to ask a celebrity for an autograph.) but because they have delusions of grandeur. I've seen it happen over and over again, as soon as people have something positive happen in their life, right away they think they got God by the balls. Right away they start to think they're smarter than everyone and an expert on every subject. They start to walk differently, with a certain pretentious swagger; they start to use a want-to-be sophisticated accent, and they start to ignore you. I would say to most celebrities to RELAX, most of you are just a bunch of spoiled, dumb, empty-headed bimbos and idiots. You are not smarter than me or anyone in my ilk-infact most of us can run intellectual circles around you, so, please, let us not confuse fame and fortune with intelligence and merit. P.S: I am a visual artist and I come in contact with celebrities sometimes by virtue of the nature of the work I do. I HAVE met a couple of decent ones (e.g, Arnold Schwartzenneger) but that's the exception rather than the rule.
