No. If we leave now, we would just be setting ourselves iin a worse position than we started out with. Leaving now would allow anti-American factions to take over, making it even worse than when Saddam was in power.

Yes. Iraq is finally getting its own security forces up and running and they are way past the point where the terrorist criminals in their midst could cause any serious trouble. They know this and are negotiating a situation where they are basically allowed to give up and go home without being slaughtered (because that is exactly what will happen to them if they don't give up....if the US stays or not). Right now, this is being worked out. When the details are finalized, US troops will start returning home. The war is over and we kicked their *** so hard they will never recover. This is George Bush's plan and it is a good one.
However, I think Iran is a pretty big threat in the world today and perhaps we might to think twice before giving up our strategic position against them in Iraq. I'm hoping the Bush administration takes this into account in their negotiations. We need to maintain the ability to hit Iran quickly and with overwhelming force if they decide to start throwing nukes around.

they should not reduce the military force! They should bring them all home together! In light of the recent kidnapping and murdering of our troops should be an eye opener to all.If they only bring part of the troops home, The ones left there will more than likely be slaughtered!

I'm not privy to all the intelligence on Iraq or the Islamist murderers, there, so my opinion has no value. However, I'd just as soon we got out of Iraq and Israel and put our men and money to work securing our southern border.

Stay until the job is complete because if we leave they will think they have won. They want us to leave that is why they are trying to kill our troops. And the people who want to leave are the Islamofascists not the average guy on the street. You people need to listen to GLENN BECK!!! 9am-12am!!
