i put my stepfather in the hospital for hitting my mother.Was i in the wrong?

No, you were completely right. Even if it was your real father, you'd be right in doing that. I would never sit there and watch my mother get beat up when I can do something about it.

Can't say that I blame you.
But in the end, you know, it's your mother who's going to have to decide what to do. You can beat the chaos out of your stepfather, you can beat him black and blue every day of your life... but it's impossible for you to control what he does when you're not around, and it's impossible for you to control whether you rmother stays with him.
Plus your stepfather can press charges on you for assault, and if your mother chooses to side with him, then you're SOL.

You know what? I got to side with Gangsta on this one! I'm 13 years old too!! And in have a bad feelin that he might do it again!!So man watch out and be by her side and call the cops when it happens!!!
Hope your moms not hurt and if she is tell her that a girl named Tabitha went thougth it with her step-mom and dad and it wasn't pretty so dump him!!!PLZ give that message to Ur Mom!!!

2 wrongs dont make a right.......you shouldve called the cops.....yes i would want to hurt him too but you are not solving anything by putting him the hospital and u in jail.......you mom would of appreciated it more if you would have called the cops instead of her son being in jail and her husband in the hospital
