It is a day to celebrate the independence and freedom the United States fought so hard against with England and what its people pride itself on. Some people who are less patriotic focus more on partying or a day off from work than think about our history and the lives that were lost so that we may be free.
My family is more on the patriotic side and although we do have a bbq, and family get together we spend the day together remembering that we are able to travel where we want, eat what we want, pray to whomever we want and so on. We eat, play games, swim in a pool, have a bbq picnic and shoot fireworks. When night comes we have our own firework show and each family brings some to shoot....so we have quite a night time show and it is fun to be with those you love. (Besides we have many veterans in our family that we must remember to be grateful for the sacrifice they gave and were willing to give).

Fireworks, lots and lots of them! I can't wait. We're going swimming at the lake, then watching the works after. I'm so excited!

The fourth of July is celebrating our freedom for which our past soldiers fought for what we have today and what we stand for and
what we should valve today. Without them we wouldn't have what we have today. We should be grateful.
