Let me be a bit more specific. I am referring to how all too often, it seems to me and many others, we have to watch ourselves in how we present and state our personal ideas and beliefs. (such as the workplace where you might 'offend' somebody. I've been pulled into the HR office because someone was offended by a conversation I was having with someone else in the breakroom.) I view it like this: here is what I believe, take it or leave it. Do I have to give up my freedom of speech, just because somebody can't accept the fact that I don't agree with them? (now if I pointed my finger at them and condemned them yelling crazy talk, then yeah I'm out of line. But I don't do that) We're always pushing for equality. Equal treatment I'm all for. Total equality? No. Then we lose individuality. You can do somethings that I can't That's good, we need diversity. Be you man or woman, white, black or otherwise. anything. As long as you're a member of the Human race, I'll respect you as I do myself.

I don't think that the minorities are running the country socially. Everyone still has their own groups. I do think that more and more people of the majority are seeing more of the good points of minorities and are working to add them to their own groups.
I don't see anything that would indicate that any one group is gaining more power than any other. In fact, I have seen over my 52 years a lot of minorities becoming more equal now than they used to be. I see more being accepted and treated equal. (Which is about time.)

No i dont agree with you. The minority seems like the majority, they have the jobs, the media, etc but the government wont let that happen. They will do everything in their power to make sure that 'white man' runs 'big white house'. The minorities, one by one will be shut down and run out of the country, you'll see....

If by minority you mean caucasion then no i do not agree however if you mean everyone else then yes of course. It's
due to the fact that the ''Minorities'' (as you put it) have created most of the wonderful things we ALL use and love on a daily basis.some examples are: fashion, art, the cotton gin, most foods we all eat,the stop light, blood transfusions as well as the general idea behind sun tan lotion(objective to obtain a darker skin tone).

Big hearty Disagree! Socially, America seems to be run by timid, back-biting, social nincompoops. Afraid of their own shadow because of their anti-bellum ideals - worried of how they might appear in being too open or willing to entertain social discourse, they sit - whole-heartedly in the 19th century.

I don't know. I feel pretty intimidated when a guy with a nice car and a booming bass rolls up beside me at the gas station. Especially when I'm eating corn dogs. That bugs the crap outta me.

What the hell are you talking about? What minorities? In what capacity? Be more specific when you are asking racially charged questiions. Or better yet, if you are stupid enough to ask something like this, be smart enough to word it properly.

I absolutely disagree. It's still mostly white, middle-age men who make all the important cultural decisions in this country.
