heres a good one.

My son, just about 15-16 decided that he was going to spend the night at a friends house. When i confirmed that a parent was going to be there, I agreed.
However, the boys decided that they were going to get drunk and when the friends father found them in the garage plastered, he took every one of them home. This was just about 1 in the morning. I just so happened to have stayed up watching a movie that night when the door opened and in walks my son. Only about 2 steps into the door, not only could I smell it from the sofa a distance away, but it was SOOOOO OBVIOUS he was sh*& faced. Of course, when I asked him why he was home, how did he get home, and what happened, etc. poor kid tried so hard to appear sober. I asked him if he had been drinking, "of course not mom".. So, being as he was so drunk, I figured I would make my point in the morning..... I am such a rotten person....
I sent him off to bed, turned off the rv and went an set my alarm for 5am.
At 5am, I got up, went into my son's room which smell of beer, vodka, tequila, whatever in the hell he had been drinking, and woke his butt up. He slept in his clothes, surprised? He was about the deepest shade of green I had seen in a long time, but I made him get up and told him he was going to mow the lawn front and back. He about passed out right there, complaining of how bad his head hurt, how tired he was, and felt queasy. I said the sweat from the lawn mowing would help, nudged him out the door, and locked it.
The moment he started the mower, I could see the pain on his face, and the moment he started to push it. (not self propelled) I could see the anguish in every step. About an hour later, he comes stumbling in, mumbled something about me being a ***** and went off to sleep. Only for a hour or so, because he had to go to church.... and needed a shower really bad.... so....
After a shower, it dawned on him we hardley ever go to church so what the hell...
After a little while he realized that getting drunk was not exactly the way to enjoy himself.
He is now almost 30, and we never had to worry about him getting shi&^ faced again as a minor. He never did....
Yard work is nice

If you're talking about the mood swings, oh, yeah. One minute it's "I love you, Mommy," the next minute you have a human with a spinning head.

My favorite story is about my daughter when she was learning to drive. I took her to a deserted parking lot to practice, figuring, what harm could she do? She backed up into a sign post, then looked at me and said, "I didn't do it. Don't tell Dad!"
