I can answer this for artificial ant nests, consisting of an internal nest and a "playground" outside. Decaesed fellow ants, like any other prey leftovers or rubbish, are transported from the internal rooms to a dump area outside the nest or to a dry unused part of the nest, i.e. to block entrances.
The victims of your formicide were probably considered as food resource for the larvae, rather than mourned relatives for ceremonial burial. However, I have rarely seen fellow ant parts fed to the larvae. This is due to the unique nest-odor, identifying nest fellows, be it dead or alive.

Well, first they bring them away just for the respect part of it but then they take them to a public bathroom. After that, they flush them down the toilet and they go into ant heaven.
