If they are like cramps you'd get during your period then don't worry about it, that's normal. If they are much more severe and painful I'd go to the ER and get checked out especially if you start to spot.

Please go to the dr. or the ER as soon as possible to find out for sure. But Here is what to expect during your first month of pregnancy:

Just a week after fertilization, baby-making is still in its infancy, so to speak. Yet your body's busily gearing up, big time. Chances are you're oblivious to all the hubbub — though some women experience those pesky PMS symptoms about now (mood swings, bloating, cramping — the usual suspects), others don't feel a thing. Whatever you're feeling (or not feeling), you can't be 100 percent sure that it's pregnancy yet. It's still too early to test. But behind the scenes, here's what's going on:

The fertilized egg and your uterus are making contact this week. After completing its six-day journey through your fallopian tube, the blastocyst you'll one day call your baby reaches its ultimate destination and begins to attach itself to the uterine lining. About 30 percent of the time, implantation bleeding will occur as that bundle of cells burrows its way into the uterine wall. Implantation bleeding, which is usually very scant and either light pink, light red, or light brown, occurs earlier than your expected period. Don't mistake it for your period, and don't worry about the bleeding — it's not a sign that something is wrong.

As soon as the fertilized eggs implants, it starts to release hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) — the hormone that will very soon turn that line on your pregnancy test pink or blue and your world upside down. HCG alerts the corpus luteum (the once-follicle this egg was released from) that it needs to stick around and produce progesterone to nourish the pregnancy until the placenta takes over — about six weeks from now.

Expect:
Implantation bleeding (possibly)
PMS-like symptoms (breast tenderness, bloating, mood swings) that might not go away

I am sorry you are scared. I said a prayer for you and your baby. It is probably nothing to worry about but I think it would be best to go to the Emergency Room just in case. If the cramps are bad that is. Good luck with everything and May God Bless you and guide you.

you could just be bloated, sounds wierd but your body is going to feel different with everything durring pregnancy. sometimes even early in pregnancy a little cramping is normal due to your body stretching and preparing.

if the really bad, and you are spotting, go to the doctor. or if the pain is really bad, go to the doctor, this could be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy, this is when the fertilized egg does not properly inplant in the uterus and it is still in the fallopian tube. this is very dangerous.

It could be that your uterus is expanding, it could be braxten-hicks. It could be athe beginings of a miscarrage. Get to the emergency room NOW and make an appointment with your OB for as soon as you can and get your prenatal care started. I know it is frightening, not knowing what is going on but the hospital can and will help you. GO NOW!! I'm not trying to scare it because it could be nothing, but it is better to find out from a professional!

It could be normal because I have had a kid and have not had cramps like that so maybe you should go to the ER. It could be serious signs that your baby could have cancer, diabetes, or maybe even worse! Good luck and I hope you find out what is wrong before it is too late. And hopefully it just happens sometimes! ;-)

Usually early onset cramping is an indicator/warning of a miscarriage. Go to the hospital emerg.

You shouldn't have any cramping this early on. I would suggest you take an appointment with your doctor to make sure the baby is ok and that your placenta is still holding.

No, you shouldn't be feeling this cramping. But you need to go to the doctor to have an ultrasound test done ASAP if you want to be sure about what's going on.
