And about that police state? Anyone know what happened to the people who tried to attend the Rainbow Gathering in Colorado this week? Since 1972 people from all over the US and the world make a trek to the National Forests for something called "The Gathering Of The Tribes" (alternative spiritual practices and prayer). This year they were all arrested and held in interment camps, with no trial scheduled and no charges filed.
I myself had a gun aimed at me by a park ranger up on the Blue Ridge Parkway near my mother's house. I had been walking the dog and enjoying the better air up there, (bad air day in the valley) when a rain storm came up. So, I waited it out by reading in the back of my truck. I was ordered out of the park (no camping allowed, he didn't care that I wasn't camping just relaxing and reading)... ordered at gunpoint! Me a middle aged disabled female. That's the country we live in.
