Just got back from a 10 hour drive 2 hours ago. I saw the Rat Pack Tribute and the World's Greatest Magic Show. Both were at the Greek Isles casino. The place is a dump but both shows were packed (at least 200-300 people). DO NOT pay full price. Get your tickets once you get to Vegas at one of many 1/2 price outlets on the strip (tickets2nite and tickets4tonight, or something like that). The $50-something magic tickets I got for $20 which included the Rat Pack show. Both shows were really good.

Just got back last week. We liked "Love" the new "Cirque" show at the Mirage. A remarkable interpretation of the Beatles and their music set to dance, acrobatics and even some humor. I'd suggest getting your tickets ASAP.
Also saw "Jubilee" at Bally's. It is a standard Vegas style review show. It was good, but not as good as "Love" unless of course you need to see the T&A. In that case I'd investigate other options. "Jubilee" isn't without talent, but after seeing "Love" it seemed to lose it's luster.
Dinner in the tower at Paris is extraordinarily good, but bring your money and wear nice clothes. An evening on Freemont street under the lit canopy can be fun. Hope this is helpful to you.

Good luck and enjoy!

Cirque de Soleil is popular for some reason; all their bending over backwards freaks me out. Blue Man Group is hilarious!

Walk along the main strip, a lot of the hotels have their own little shows and stuff out front (ie- Bellagio "dancing" fountains).
In the Venetian mall, the statues come alive and talk every hour or so...that was kinda cute ot watch

We went to see "KA" at the MGM last year and that was a great show. If you have neve been to Vegas before you should go see one of the production shows with the girls (topless). I recommend the show Jubilee at Ballys. I have seen that one at least 3 times. If you don't want topless, they do have a covered version for families that starts earlier in the evening.

I have also seen and recommend Clint Holmes at Harrahs, Gladys Knight at the Flamingo and for a comedy show George Wallace at the Flamingo. I saw Schintas at the Rio and it was OK, but I don't rate it high.

My husband and I saw Blue Man Group last summer and it was wonderful fun. It is original and memorable. We saw Ka (a Cirque du Soleil show), and we were a little disappointed. (I have no idea if that is still there, but my understanding is that Blue Man Group is a pretty regular event.)
I went with some friends last March, and we went to a fun dueling pianos bar and I can't remember where it was! It was on the first floor of one of the casinos on the Strip and was close to Margaritaville...
Have fun and win big!

Blue Man Group, Penn & Teller are the best magicians, but more adult oriented, Cirque is always good, and your first time will always be the best.
