Hi everybody. So, I want to take my two kitties, 6 months now, with me to Holland for a vacation. I understand I need a pet pasport. Does anyone know exactly what I need to do etc? Are there rules that vary per country that you enter? AND I don't want my babies to go with the cargo :( But I understand they are too big for carry on, maine coons grow fast. So are there people with experiance? How does it work when they are in cargo, how long before that can't I feed them etc? Tnx a lot everybody that responds :)

As a fellow cat owner - I suggest taking some cute pictures of your kitties and leaving them at home with a cat sitter. Not only would the experience be traumatic for them, it would be a hassle for you. It might be comforting to have your kitties with you - but what about kitty litter and food? Don't want to carry that with you on the plane!

Please reconsider and leave your kitties at home. They will be better off and so will you!

hmmm... isn't there a 6 month quaranteen time for pets entering holland?.. you should check with the officials in each country you will visit.. it's probably best to leave your kitty's with a friend .. or have someone watch them at home.
