How long have you been apart/divorced?
Were you the one that left? Cheated? Brought about the situation? Are there kids involved? Do you regret what you did? Did you think it would never come to this?
Men deal with emotions in different ways. Many men deal with pain by getting angry and mean. Often times, they jump to new women, without caring, etc.
I can only speak from the side of the hurt man. The man that was either left, cheated on and left, destroyed, etc. Not only did I experience it first hand, but 3 of my closest buddies did as well. I know, in all of our cases, it would mean alot to have our exwives call and tell us that she loves us.
I have to admit, my exwife has done this. I responded, honestly, and told her that I love her too. She has said that she will always love me. I have told her the same. The exchange was every bit as gratifying as it was heartbreaking.

why would you do that - it's done it's gone , it will never be good or the same again, you are divorced. Accept the reality. Start looking for someone better, don't waste your time in sadness and nostalgia, past is past.

on this matter he probley is still in love with you men are like that but wont admit it . how to et him know he once was married to you he will know by your look as well actions as well i have a first wife but we are divorced but she was a very good woman a better woman than i was a man and i will love her to the day i die this is fact on this matter. as well my honest opion?

what has he done differently now,he didn't before,if you want your marriage to work,God love ya,but you have to understand where you've been,where you are going,sacrifices that are to be made,but the most important aspect of all,when you lie in bed with him,how you feel.
