She's known the guy for 10+ years and she believed that he was her soulmate. She married him about 5-7 months ago. She caught him in their bed with two other women. I think thats a good reason enough for a divorce right? I heard you can get an annulment too, but I'm not really understanding all the legalities of it. What advice would you give her? I told her to seek a lawyer.

When my husband got divorsed, it only cost him the court fees... Which was $65.00...
She should go to her county's courts to find out the details on how much it cost to file and court fees...
Don't hire a lawyer because it will cost her approx. $2500+...
Tell her hang in there, she do it!

WHAT??! 10 YEARS and then he hops into a bed with 2 women??? Whoa. That's crazy! Yea, definetly time for a divorce! Depends on the state and the lawyer, but most of the time, if there aren't kids or a lot of join assests, she can get out for around $500. What a D____!! Tell her good luck!!

How does she feel about forgiveness? Maybe a councilor if he is willing never to cheat again. It just seems like many years to just flush down the toilet.
But if she has made up her mind she will have to contact a lawyer and find out the costs.

He broke his vows; he has to go!! There may be a local office in her town that allows filing for divorce without the need of an attorney. Have her check the local phonebook for references.

Minimum of $1000 if attorney is involved and can/will climb from there if he gets an attorney. It is a big merry go round.

Actually, I agree with TeeGee (?) above. Your friend should be asking the question. Anyway, I figure the cost to be around 1600.00 - 2000.00 dollars.

why would your friend marry "some jerk"? and why is it your business how much her divorce will cost? and if you were a good friend, wouldn't you have advised her AGAINST marrying some "jerk".???
try minding your own business. your friend is married to her husband, and it's not your place to be asking what you're asking!
