the whole purpose of the temp folder is to give Windows a place to work where it wont mess with other files and programs. you tell windows to open a picture or install a program, it sort of unloads it into that folder, then pulls out what it needs, as it needs it. when its done, it just walks away. sometimes there is a mess left in the folder, sometimes not. whenever there is stuff in there, its never anything you need. its normal to delete everything, and have it tell you that one or two files cannot be deleted. come back and clean the folder out again in a few days and they'll be gone.

These you can safely delete to your heart's content. If the computer needs the file then it won't let you delete it. You can also delete anything in the Temp Directory with the same result. If the computer needs it then it will not let you delete it. It is good computer maintenance to regularly delete these files (say once a month) so it won't slow down your machine.

The best way to delete extra files safely is to let your computer do it. Go to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Cleanup. Select the drive and it will safely delete any files that your computer doesn't need anymore. Again this is an example of good computer maintenance and should be done once a month.

You can also delete some cookies they are small simple text files, but you will loose your passwords that the machine is supposed to remember. The passwords won't change, and if you log in to the computer with a password it will not change either.

Dear,
it is just temprory folder so if u delete everything in this folder you will not loose anything. if you need more free space in your hard drive you need to delete all the files under this folder. while you install some program the backup files will be placed here for temprory. but it will not be removed automaticaly. if you dont want this you have to remove manualy.

Note : i suggess you a program to remove all temp files and junks in your computer. that is "System Mechanic". it is the best maintanence tool. try it.... thanks.

You cant delete these drives but you can format these
if you kept your operating system files in this drive then you can not otherwise your computer will not work even for a single
second
then you have to reload your windows
and if you have not kept the operating system files in this drive then you can format it
but at formating you will loose all your data saved in this drive
