Early autumn when the temperature is just starting to get get cool enough for a light jacket. A cool evening walk, the changing colours of the trees, wrapping in a blanket on a porch swing looking at the stars, bonfires with friends, all the festivals and corn mazes and cider tastings, hiking and backpacking with the leaves crunching under your feet while seeing all kinds of colourful trees, it is just the best time of year. It is especially good when I get to visit our camp/house in the mountains because we can sit on the porch and over the process of a week we watch the mountainside change colours as the leaves all change, it is amazing. Plus right around then is when all the animals near the camp seem to show up, elk, deer and their young, wild turkeys, an occasional bear or bobcat. Plus during the day the temperture is perfect for anything and everything outdoors, and the nights are cool and make sleeping with the windows open quite enjoyable.

I love the fall. New York in the fall is quite a sight. The Hudson Valley has such beautiful brightly colored leaves against the rolling hills. The land is a rich brown and the roadside stands are full of the season's harvest. There's hayrides and the scent of the leaves in the cool air. Halloween night comes and there's kids laughing and making the rounds through the neighborhoods in their favorite costumes, hoping to scavenge the most candy. People line up in the chilly dark for a haunted hayride and later enjoy freshly - pressed cider and doughnuts. My honey and I hold hands as we walk through a sun-spotted path. No other season beats the fall!

Early autumn. I live in Northern NY state, so the weather here is the same as New England. I like the cool fall weather. It's not cold, but not hot, and a nice break from the humidity that is common in summer in the Northeast. I like to take my binoculars, go to the overlook in the park and look at the changing leaves on the trees. It is also great weather for walking and biking.

I like and enjoy each season with absolute gusto! If I had to choose just one, and apparently I do, I'd chose the fall. Things seem more relaxed, laid back.. pumpkins, apples, jelly's and jams.. pies. Apple butter, breads and cakes.. People seem a bit more friendly. The air quiets and cools, the nights still. The scent that fills the air is fabulous..even though it's mostly the decay of the summer life around us.. I bring out my quilting, my fleece and begin spinning.. Food's stored in the root cellar.. more time to spend with my family. Less rushed. The colors of the leaves, the crunch of them beneath our feet, and the kids jumping into the piles after you're raked. The geese flying overhead, heading south.. MmMmMmmmm

Autumn...there is a certain feel in the air. Summer is over and it's time to settle back down to a routine but, there is still enough sunlight in the evening to enjoy the outdoors. The air is crisp and the colors of the trees are amazing. Halloween is fun too, with the little neighborhood kids all dressed up and having fun. It brings back good memories of my childhood as well, raking a big pile of leaves to jump in, having a blast and then getting called in for supper, the windows all steamy from moms home cooking....

I wish i really could answer this objectively. I live in southern Nevada. Ive been in this area or around it for all my life.
There really isn't much of a season change. It just goes from Hot to hotter than Hell !!! From about march till September the temperature can range from the 80's to about 120. It is a very dry heat. the rest of the year it really doesn't get cold we don't get snow here, Ive seen it fall a few times but you don't really see it on the ground. I don't really like the cold, Ive been in snow before and it isn't a very pleasant experience to me.
I liked the was you describe autumn. It sounds nice. Here it is really a desert. mostly see cactus in peoples yard. The most green you see here is on a golf course. And I think they use recycled water for that, if you know what i mean.

i would have to say the autumn too. nothing beats walking in the park with a loved one. all the trees leaves have turned orange red and some slightly green. some trees have already shedded their leaves. all the leaves with their colors on the ground. then the when suddenly blows and their going round and round. just to see them fly is so beautiful. when ur their with that boyfriend, girlfriend or family member it makes it so fun. then the unexpected weather is awesome. you dont know if your goina end up cuddling or just watchin the view. then like the smell of the air. its not that hotness of pine like in the summer time its like this smell so hard to explain. well basically i love the fall and thats all. and then the clear nite skies so you can glance up at the beautiful stars. most people think i favor fall because my birthday is halloween, but its not. i just like it. to see all the kids with their pumpkins carving them. i remember when i was that little. you know what i really like about the fall it brings out my little kid spirit. i play in the leaves. wish on stars, and carve pumpkins. i make it sound like im old as dirt when im only 15. but most of the time im busy and the fall is when school starts back and i actually have the time outside to play and look at the sky. and now im longing for it to come back around.

My favorite seson is autumn too. I look forward to the hot summer being over. And the turn of the leaves on the trees turning, the pretty colors of yellow, brown, orange and red. And I love to walk down the street seeing these colors as the cool breeze air blows the leaves around and the cool air just feels crisp, and cool. The weather is just perfect.!!!!

Let me put it this way...it was 92 degrees last night in my room...i had the thermometer and it was finally at 6 a.m. 86 degrees. I hate summer because we all look like ****, the crackheads are out I have had mail stolen 3 times now and a LOT of money taken I hate what the summer does to people.....I LOVE Autumn and Winter, LOVE foliage and thank god for Astrocartography...as when I consulted someone ....there were 3 places I should choose to live e..NONE have anything to do with the frikkin desert. (Raised in the desert...) ~ I adore winter and recall when I lived in a castle here in the east....yes, a REAL castle, turrets and spires, no moat...that when the larger flakes of snow landed in the winter silence...you could actually hear them make a small noise...it was so lovely I went outside and spinning around, my face to tghe sky bare foot....catching the snowflakes all over me, it was like emancipation......I cannot wait for the cooler weather.....it brings the best out of people....and yes, probably out of me as well. NO SUMMER.....EVER.....alas, my birthday is near the end of summer...I just stay in, as peole are horrid in the dog days of it.....Oh...and then Autumn, the crisp lovely, chaning of tides....wherein I huddle with my books, and my (in about 8 weeks) husband to be..and say "***** ALL to the rest of the world. So for me I have to go with Autumn and Winter.....and I look sooooooooooo good in Black.

Winter is me favorite, I just love all that white snow and brisk air. Being born and raised in Wisconsin I remember when i was little sledding and ice skating, and all the hot chocolate i could drink to warm up.Building igloos and pretending we were Eskimos what a laugh when your a kid. Those are the memories that stay with and make a certain season special for you. And living in Kansas now how I wish it was colder here and for sure we don't get enough snow.
