fantasy baseball:who's a good trade for Johan Santana? I need a good batter,or a good RP.?

To be honest with you, I wouldn't trade you any of my top line hitters (Tejada, Cabrera) for Santana, but someone might. I wouldn't settle for anything less than someone like those two, David Wright, etc if I were you. I would even go for Pujols, you might not get him, but it's worth asking for, and although I think you're getting the better of that deal, its not terribly unbalanced.

If you want a RP for this you have to get one of the top 3, like a Paplebon, or you should walk away.

Ask for a lot, I think you'll probably get it, because I'm sure someone in your league is in love with him. I'd put it to everyone before dealing him to find out who that someone is.

Johan Santana, hmmmm, giving up an awful lot of pitcher there. As previously stated David Wright is good, but I like Eric Chavez a bit better in the second half.

Jonathan Papelbon would probably be the only RP to Santana in value. Start with trying to get Pujols, although I don't think his owner would deal him. Then try David Wright, Alfanso Soriano, David Ortez, Jose Reyes, Carl Crawford, Vernon Wells, or A-Rod.

I'd try to get BJ Ryan and a solid but underrated bat. You'd be paying for name recognition in Papelbon. Maybe hitters to target would be guys like Holliday, Rios (when he returns from the DL), Sizemore, or a slow starter beginning to heat it up like A. Ramirez. You'd probably have to throw in a lesser player, but that's the sort of deal where you can maximize Santana's trade value.

You should try to get Francisco Liriano and because Santana is a big name you could also get a decent hitter too.

I would try to get a package of Sizemore and Rivera or Papelbon if you can.

If they dont have either Rivera or Papelbon, you could ask for their best reliever.
