BMW's top competition is Audi, Mercedes, Lexus, and I suppose Volvo as well. In my opinion, Audi drives better than BMW. They are more solid, great looking (the new ones that is) and are some of the tightest, most responsive cars in the road today. If you are talking more of sports cars rather than sedans, then the Porsche Carrera models dominate any sports sedan/sports car BMW has. The Boxter destroys the Z4, and the latest M6 sports sedan by BMW could never reach the abilities of the Carrera models. By the way, Audi is bringing out an RS4 which will blow the M3 off the road, and an RS6 which is expected to compete well with the M5. When it comes to cars, Audi and Porsche are at the top of there game.
