The problem we have is not the price of gas but the abuse of it. If we could moderate our consumption the price could be lowered. The rest of the world usually pays much more for gas and travels far less than we do. The government has spoiled us into wanting more travel and mobility that really is needed. IF the leaders is Washington had done their job we could have had alternative fuel and more efficient cars but that was not profitable.

oil is produced by nature, free to exploit, provided by nature for people... for free... the cost covers exploitation cost, legal permits and logistics, and the price mark-ups by oil companies, the middle eastern governments, and by the rich US politician, owner of oil services companies, such as the bush family (Halliburton)...
