The instructions to do this are hidden in the Help pages for Yahoo! Mail, but here's the quick link: http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/config/config-17.html
As long as you know all the other information about your account, it should work. :)

Nah, ya can't switch the question that is in case you have forgotten your password. When yiu have forgotten your password you should have picked a secret question, so maybe invent or create a custom answer for that question.
As for your ex friends, better change immedietely the password and the secret q & a for them not to see. Or, perhaps, even if they did not know the password or the secret answer, they might have installed a small spyware on your PC, the keyboard recorder, where you can listen and see what the comprimised computer is typing. Who knows, it might even be the password, I mean everything is recorded and then saved, especially your password!
Just change the password and the question. That should do it.
Good luck.

Go to your account (located under your name in the upper portion of the page) and enter your password. You can scroll down to your security questions there.

there's a rip-off going around to participants of each and all of the e mail centers inquiring for an identity and Password to proceed the account. An e mail service will never ask for a password in an e mail for an account. ignore approximately it. never have faith the FROM handle. they are in a place to be faked. ? ??l???q ?

just pick any question but answer completely different that no one knows but u.. and just remember that.. so i can still have the question of your pets name but u have a different answer... and plus never give anyone your passwords.. and make sure its a hard one not an easy one..
