I think everyone should be married before they have sex. That would cure a lot of the world's problems in itself. No more abortions, no more families going on welfare to support five kids that have five different fathers...

Indulging in sex before or after marriage is a personal preference. However, there are many things to consider if she does indulge before she is married, such as STD and emotional commitment, etc. It is definitely a personal choice.

YES!!!! Now is the time, more then ever! Because of diseases and so forth. Because, when she waits until the wedding night, that night will be more special. But I would go another step and say that guys should be married before indulging in sex....

I think you need to experiance whatever is out there before you get married. Once you get married thats that. No turning back, no second doubts, what ifs, or what could have or should have beens. Make sure it is what you want or you are going to hurt alot more people in the long run. Once you get married it is just not you anymore.

I believe that she should, and so should men. Sex is, in itself, an emotional commitment. Why not wait until you've made the ultimate emotional commitment in marriage?

It's hard to wait, but I've never heard of anyone who was sorry he/she did. I have, on the other hand, heard many, many stories of people who regret having had pre-marital sex. Since you can never go back, I don't see what you have to lose by waiting. I do see what you have to lose by recklessly going forward.

I would like to answer this question but I don't understand why it is limited to women. If women should not, who are the men having sex with? Why the double-standard?

I say that both men and women should. With HIV/AIDS and other STD's on the rise it would be safer to wait till marriage. This is not even mentioning if you are a Christian, and what the Bible says. Condoms do not always stop STD's.

There is no "right" answer that works for everybody. This is a very personal question, that not everyone answers the same way.

Those who believe strongly in religion might answer one way, and those for whom individual liberty and taking responsibility for themselves are paramount might answer another way.

If you are not sure, find women around you who you trust, and who you think are good persons, honest, thoughtful, moral, and caring, and ask them what they think.

No, because girls seem to be having sex at a younger age in the time that we are in.
