He doesnt have a girlfriend but hes in a position of authority.

You said it yourself...........he is "off limits"

there are certain parameters in trying to connect with a person that you have already acknowledged as off limits.

You simply don't!

Either he belongs to another or there is some boundary that you already recognize. Leave him alone..........

Your "add on" certainly sheds some light on this.

Position of authority? Over YOU or even others? then that is a definite NO NO.

Never compromise a working relationship on any level.

Well, to be realistic if he is off limits then no matter how you let him know you are into him it is going to cause problems. I would ride it out and put your interests elsewhere. If you haven't even done anything yet but already know it could cause problems, that is not a good sign.

If he is off limits, leave him alone. Don't be ignorant and go after someone who is taken, there are plenty out there to choose from. Move on.

You don't. Why would you want him to know? It will only cause more drama for you and possibly more stress for him. Restrain yourself and move on.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE WITH SOMEONE WHO IS OFF LIMITS IF YOU KNOW YOUR GOING TO CAUSE PROBLEMS THEN DONT BOTHER
