Allison likes fashion, and fashionable she is (though her choices aren’t always perfect). By wearing different combinations of the shoes, shirts, and pants she owns, Allison can create 90 different outfits.
If Allison owns 5 pairs of shoes, and 3 pairs of pants, how many shirts does she own?

Divide 90 by 5 and you get 18. Thats the number of combinations of shirts and pants.

Divide 18 by 3 to get the number of shirts... thats 6.

Good thing that order doesnt matter. :)
