no disrespect to rey, he is an awesome wrestler, but his mic skills are just awful. i believe that the champion should have an equal amount of talent on both skills. plus, i think that the only reason that rey was champion in the first place is because of eddie's death. remember? "i dedicate this championship to eddie" i think that people just want the next best thing to having eddie back, and thats where rey comes in. plus, if batista didnt get injured, would rey have been made champion? what do you guys think?

You bring up alot of great points. However, I think the one that is most prodent is what will sell tickets and make $$$$. WWE is all about making money. Do not get me wrong, I love the show and I have been watching it since Vince senoir was running it. But everyone loves an underdog. Alot of these guys are just monsterous compared to the adverage Joe. Rey makes us all feel that even the little guy can do it. and THAT will sell tickets! Besides, I like wrestliing champoins that can actually wrestle. Rey, Benoit, Jerico, Angle, Malenko, these guys are wrestlers. Just my oppinion.

I like his image as a competetor. Or should US Champ or should be holding any other title.
But, unfortunately he can't maintain his dignity as World Heavyweight Champion, because when you're a Champ everybogy should respect you and if they don't, you should make them.
He can beat the **** out of allmost anyone.
But holding title, he can't fight for the respcet of the title he's holding.
You look good as an 'Underdog', when you are fighting for a title, but once you are a title holder you should be underdog nomore!
Also if it's no so that Batista's inhury has anything to do with Rey's being Champ, every moment inside the ring is deciding factor. Since Rey was really concerned and motivated by late Eddie, Rey would have definitely wrenched every nerve to get his title.

Well, i like Rey a lot and i think he proved himself alot of times and he deserve to be a champion.. People like him not only because of Eddie but also because he is a great champ. anyway, Batista will be back soon and shorty after that Rey will be no longer the champ.

If batista didn't get injured by Mark Henry I think Batista would have kicked rey's *** but I do think Rey won the title fairly but since Batista is coming back on Friday I don't think Rey is gonna have a lot of time with the title.

I don't think Rey should be champ. I might sound like the bad-guy here, but I don't care. Rey is not a "great' wrestler, he is only popular because of Eddie's death and I think that is wrong.

Well...all I can say is this....6 days...the Animal is Unleashed. Rey, while being an awesome champ, is going to likely lose to "whoever he faces at the GAB". His title reign will not be forgotten of course. He has tremendous heart and energy like I've hardly seen in my years watching this sport. But I think we're about to witness Rey's demise at the GAB. But Good Luck Rey! He'll definitely need it!
