First of all, be careful as the "powers that be" are now policing the internet for whatever they deem suspicious or malicious...

Yes it is possible to visit the Cuba from Jamaica as they do not stamp ur pp. However if you have dual citizenship, you may use ur other pp as well, BUT, be very carefull. I don't know what the consequences are if you are caught!

Unless you have GOOD reason to go to cuba (ie you have family there), don't go. Not only is it illegal to spend money there but the government is extremely hostile to americans.

Don't be surprised if you are arrested upon entering Cuba and shaken down for a ton of cash or worse. Upon returning home, DHS is going to want to have a word with you. It is unlikely they will prosecute you but they WILL open up a file on you (chance of being caught is 100% as they pay the guys who bring you over quite handsomely to drop a dime on you). Expect to be hassled basically for the rest of your life, every time you leave the country. God help you if you have other suspect crap going on in your life or a criminal record of any sort.

However, none of that is serious. What is serious is what can happen to you in Cuba. Cuba is not a normal country. People can and do disappear there all the time for no reason at all. The very fact that you are american and entering Cuba puts you at high risk for this. There is an unacceptable risk that you will be arrested and tortured to death....simply because those in power hate americans. Since you are a criminal, they know nobody will be inquiring about you, especially the US government. And that's just the government. Piss off anyone at all there and they will cut your throat for the same reason. Cuba is a hell hole. Stay away, dumbasses.

Right your American passport will not be stamped. Cuba is, from what I hear, is fine and must disagree with the person who puts fear in you. The Cuban people are poor and country is in bad shape. The Cuban people, from what Mexicans tell, are polite and love tourists.
You must make that decision if you want to go. Just do not go to Aruba I hear they slaughter young ladies and never find the killer.
