Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

I don't think peanut butter causes acne. Chocolate does, in some cases. As well as Tomatoes.

Huh, I'm not sure, although that is a good question (and possible theory). I myself eat peanut butter regularly (at least once a week, especially for school lunch), and haven't found my pimples to increase.
Many people (and skincare companies) claim food doesn't impact your skin, but I believe having a healthy, balanced diet and drinking heaps of water can improve your skin's condition, as good foods contain more nutrients, many needed for skin repair, maintenance, etc.

It has a lot of calories and can contribute to that, yes, in addition to the oils. I usually break out when I eat a lot of peanuts. Remember that what you put in your body has to come out somewhere.
