I have 3 tattoos. One on my stomach, foot, and shoulder blade. Tattoos are something you should be willing to live with for the rest of your life. You should really think about it before you go drawing on your body. Get something that shows who you are. I have always wanted to get song lyrics or a quote of some kind start at my foot and wrapping up around my ankle.

Bottom line is: no one can tell you what tattoo you should get other than yourself since you're the one that will have to live with it forever.

Make sure it's meaningful, symbolic and you take some time to consider all of your options. A tattoo is something that will be on you for the rest of your life. Are you going to want it twenty years down the road when you might not be so "fit"? I want to get a tattoo also. My sister and I have decided to get matching tattoos saying "Sisterhood" in chinese.

I suggest your favorite animal, a symbolic figure in your life, something relating to things you are passionate about...

Whatever you decide to get just remember it's there and will be. Look at your mom or another person much older and visualize them with the tatoo. If you think it would look cool on them then maybe that's the one for you. Also think of this. Think of wearing the same shirt or pants over and over every day and what if you got tired of it? Tatoos are fab today and many have them but make sure you are ready to add something that will eventually be in your casket when you die with you and hanging around on you when you are 80 if you make it that far.

First, remember that whatever you decide will be part of your body FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. Is it really appropriate to ask strangers for suggestions for something that you'll have forever?

If you are absolutely certain that you want a tattoo, be sure that it's in a place that you can hide if you so choose - for job interviews, weddings, etc. Then, find something that says who you are - not a fad, not the name of a guy you're dating, not something you'll have to explain to everyone who sees it.

well i dont have one yet but im planning too. the way im deciding is ive had about 26 henna at various places on my body, sum i cant mention here, but try diff things and if you find one you like get it permanent my friend has spent 3 yrs doin this and has just recently found one he likes. he got a dragon twisting around a sheild like a midevil coat of arms on his left forearm on the underside and it looks cool. but for come reason when we walked by the local church some nuns came up and tried to bless him or something telling him that he should leave his ocultic ways and disband from the devil

I have a tattoo. I am not going to tell you what to get. I think from my own experiance you need to find out what means the most to you and get it wherever you want. Why do you want someone elses opnion about what your are going to have for the rest of your life? Make up your own mind for once. Why do you need someone to tell you what to do?

None, because sooner or later your going to decide you don't like it and don't want it, and then it is going to cost you more money to get it laser burned off you, which hurts like all H***, not only that theres a chance you could get hepatitis, hiv, etc, so my suggestion to you, use temporary tatoos, the look as good as the real thing and you can change them whenever you want,

If you are getting a tattoo, it needs to be something meaningful to you. Not some pretty, trendy thing that people on a website tell you, not something you saw on a celebrity and want to copy.

go to your local walmart and get some temporary tattoos cause that is the only type of tattoo you should get if you are having to ask our opinion on what you should get
