Maybe we need to tell all these teen girls what has happen to us that was bad when we were teens and thought sex was cool.....I was 16 when i first had sex i got pregnant first time and at the time didnt even know i was pregnant..i thought i started my period thought it was a bad one until i went to the doctor they said its normal for a young gilr to bleed while pregnant but it kept it up so we went to another doctor where they said i was miscarrying and had been for some time...i was so full of infection that i almost died..GIRLS i didnt even know i was pregnant. now i am 28 yrs old and had to have a hysterectomy at age 24...i already had 2 girls..but i cant have any more and my current husband doesnt have any so its real hardfor us but worth it for my life and the doctors say that was part of the reason i had to have it done. dont be stupid if you are going to have sex use protection or just DONT do it until you are married.

For one....I wasnt trying to dictate anybody..and I never said that ever girl thats has sex and an early age is going to get pregnant. I was trying to let young girls that dont know much and maybe think they do what COULD POSSIBILY happen. So if you dont like what I have to say then dont post back. I am just trying to talk to some of these girls that think they have to have sex cause their boyfriends want to, or to be in the hip crowd.
If I offended anybody I am sorry. I wanted to share my story with others, in hope it may help somebody.

Thank you for telling us all that. I'm a teenager and I've thought about having sex but decided not to until I was in a more permant relationship meaning marriage. Amen , Gal...i feel you and you are so right!This generation is rushing into sex without even thinking of the consequences, most are a rebelious lot, and peer pressure also is a factor. Kids need to have back bones and also learn from their elders' mistakes.I also blame it on the Freedom that kids have nowdays.

Yes, I think that what you have to say in an example to teenage girls everywhere. I am 15, and have chosen absistence because I know of the dangers of pre-marital sex. Keep up the good work!

where is the question! anyways. um mm isn't that your fault, why come in and dictate us, where you are supposed to be asking Q., OK I'm 17 i am in a relationship we've been together for 2 1/2 years and i haven't gotten pregnant, not every teenager gets pregnant, and all the people that agree on the raplies to her "question" with her you know you've had sex or messed around. if you aren't a teen you are and older lady that comes in to the teen questions and dictates the teens that come here to ask very important questions to them. people like you irritate me!!!!!!!!!

this is great!!! i wish when i was 15 i saw this...i was pregnant with my 1st child at 15.. i had to forcefully grow up, get a job, eventually drop out of school, bust my *** everyday because the "daddy" or shall i say sperm donor didnt do a darn thing to help me!!!! now im 24 and i feel like im 45...i missed out on my prom, fun events with my friends, dates, all the good things of being a teenager...so to all the girls (and boys) age 13-18....live your lives, if you do have save , practice safe sex, and do not take your youth for granted!!!!! god bless all !!!!
ps...for those who are still virgins....trust me sex is NOT all its made out to be!!!! so just wait till your happily married, and physically, emotionally, and financially ready!!!!

I just wanted to say that I agree and that i am 16. My mother had my older brother when she was 16 but got pregnant with him when she was 15. My family has always told me not to be like her. Today she lives in a cock roach motel with a bunch of drug people. i love my mother but i don't want to be like her. I have already made the mistake of not waiting but i am waiting now and not just because i want to prove to my family and other i can but for myself and for my health. But also I think every woman that has responded to a teenage question about pregnancy has probable really helped them. Even though you probable wonder what is going through our minds when your answering the questions but my point is that it is really great that we have guidence from people with experiences. negative experiences, might just make some
teens think twice before "giving it up" to 1st
boy who tells 'em they are pretty.
I hope you helped some of these
gals who are wayyyyy too young
to even be dating, let alone having

I waited till i was emotionaly ready and mature, and for the right guy.
I was 19, and that is not a bad thing, its good! cuz you waited!
Hopefully these girls will remember this and not have to go through any horror stories.

I have to say I agree with you. Sex before marriage does nothing but contribute to a lot of pain, possibility of unwanted pregnancy, and the spread of STD's.
I wish I had waited, but I'm waiting now.
