It seems that everyone i talk to thinks that pirates of the caribbean was a great movie but i didnt think it was great and i didnt think it was horrible.. i just thought it was alright and not great like so many people claim it to be...

It was cheesy, but it was meant to be, and it's most importantly a family movie. Captain Jack is just cool, he was the movie and will be the next one. It was fun to watch his predicament.

I hate Johnny Depp... he just bugs me, I don't know why. So yes, Pirates of the Caribbean wasn't spectacular. It was alright. It was entertaining. I like a little swordplay and all that... overall, there have been many, many better movies worth raving about.

Of course you are, you obviously have no personality because most people can decided if they like something or not. It was an amazing movie and Johnny Depp was awesome in it. You need to take up some interest maybe and stop sitting at your computer asking dumb questions all day.

It is bad, but I'm a band dork who played the Pirates music for marching two years ago. Yes, the first one was bad. The second one will be equally bad, I'm sure, but seeing it is an obligation.

yea, i also thought it wasn't THAT great of a movie but it wasn't a bad movie either. in my opinion, there are so many other movies better than it that have better plots. and to be honest, im not really into pirates?!!

Yes, Monica, you're the only one who didn't like it. It was brilliant and quirky, with great acting, an original plot and terrific special effects!

I agree with you 100%. It wasn't great but it wasn't that bad either. I'd still watch again :)
