The alternator has been changed several times and I don't know why the battery isn't charging. Any ideas on this would be very helpful.

these car,s have built in regulator,s in the alternator,so if it is not charging you may have lost you engine ground,,there are usually 2 wires on the negative cable,,one will go to the body ground, and one will go to the engine ground,,check these real good,,you may just find that the one to the body ground is corroded real bad,,if not take the alternator you have back off,,and have it checked,,i have bought bad alternator,s before,,especially at advance auto,,i went through 3 in one day before i got a good one,,hope this help,s you some.

How do you know the battery is not charging? Take it to Auto Zone (for one) and have them put their charger/analyzer on it. It will show if it is really not charging and can even help find out why. Went through something like this last summer at an Auto Zone when I was pulled up next to a car they were checking. Got my two cents in due to my electronic and mechanical background and found that the alternator was putting out 13.8 volts, but the battery was reading 12.2!!! Found a cable problem and repaired it with my trusty Leatherman. Then the battery began to take a charge and so I left. Made $20 on the deal from the owner.

Check the fuses and fuse link. Hondas have a solid metal fuse link that screws into the panel under the hood. It might also have a charge or alternator fuse. My bet is on the fusible link.

Have you checked the voltage on it? Because if you charge it and check quickly with a voltmeter, you'd notice. If it doesn't charge, you probably need a new battery.
