I am using my grandparents Dish Network and I accidently set a few shows that are now recording everytime...?

they air. How can I delete these settings? I don't want to record these shows, but I can't figure out how to stop them. Please help!

ok this is what you do you have it set to record every day or week at the same time so you need to push the dvr button then go over to where it says timers and uncheck the event then go over and hit delete there ya go have fun

Its simple. Use the BIG round button with the 4 arrow keys and point it to the right with your thumb until you get DirecTV Central. Then Use the Arrow Keys to go Down to the "Pick Programs to Record". Choose "Season Pass Manager" and click Select, then Find the 2 programs you don't want to record and delete them, the screens will give you instructions on how to do this if you go slow. Good luck.

ps you DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG. You need to go in and turn off "SUGGESTIONS" that's the reason that it tapes every time now. Not that you have it on the entire season, once you watch something and put it on the dvr, it puts it in the memory as a "favored" program. So unless Sugesstions is turned off, theres nothing you can do unless its on Season Manager also.

Go into the menu and find some kind of option that says scheduled recording or recorded shows or timers. All the equipment is slightly different, but you need to find the recording schedule, not the show itself. Then just delete it.

Indeed, love and war are chimerical beasts, it would be a mighty one indeed, who can tell right from wrong, and bring peace on the Homo Sapiens.

ooo easy..jst click dvr...and then the things u recored already pop up then click dvr again..then a list of the things that will record will pop up..click the show or shows u dont want to record..and on the list of what you can do with that show is on the write itt says delete timer or something.

I HAVE DISH NETWORK LISTEN UP THIS IS WHAT YOU DO: GO TO DVR, THAN MY RECORDINGS, & SELECT, & THAN YOU GO INTO DVR HISTORY & THE MOVIES SHOULD ALL APPEAR THERE ALL IN ORDER, THAN YOU WILL SEE ON OVER TO YOUR RIGHT YOU WILL SEE CLEAR ALL USE THAT OPTION, FOR NOW WHEN YOU WANT TO RECORD JUST 1 MOVIE ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU CLICK ON ONCE NOT ALL EPOSODES THATS WHERE YOU MESSED UP IT TOOK ME AWHILE TO FIGURE THINGS OUT TOO.
