How do you make or insert number lines int Microsoft Word?

When i say number line, I mean inserting a line that has two arrows at each end and has little ticks on it and under the ticks are numbers...

How to add line numbers
Switch to print layout view.
Select what you want to add line numbers to,entire document or just a section
On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Layout tab.
If you're adding line numbers to part of a document, click Selected text in the Apply to box.
Microsoft Word will add page breaks before and after the selected text.

Click Line Numbers.
Select the Add line numbering check box, and then select the options you want.
