I need to know how to make macro shortcuts within an excell workbook. Basically what I want to do is simply click on the picture of the Excel bird and have it take me to the specific drawing that I have stored on my computer. I need to know where to find the shortcut pictures for excel as well. Could someone please help?

I need to know where the icons you use to add into microsft excel are; in order to add them to the workbook as shortcuts. Normally for me when useing one it is just a picture of a bird that you push and it takes you to whatever macro you have saved. Now what exactly I am looking for is to have a macro recorded so that I can open a drawing or something outside of excel. The macro records your actions but it wont let me open something outside of excel for some reason. I know how to write one in Excel. Could someone please assist. Thanks.

Click Ctrl-Alt-F11 and you'll get into the VBA editor. It's really easy to write macros...
