A lot of Republicans support the death penalty because it is the will of the majority and the law of the land. When a criminal murders, he/she knows the end result could be death (after 30 years of appeals). Democrats support abortion because it is a political issue that ensures the liberal vote, in the name of women's rights, but the innocent child is put to death for the mistake of the mother. Most Republicans support a law that would allow an exception in abortion in cases of rape, incest or health of the mother, but they most definitely rather see a child be adopted than killed. There are more folks willing to adopt than there are adoptions every year. It amazes me how much money is put in to animal shelters to keep animals living, but up until President Bush came in to office, it was legal to extract a baby feet first to its neck, then kill the baby and when the job is done, the baby is then pulled the rest of the way out.

I don't see the irony in being for the death penalty, and removing scumbags like John Wayne Gacy and Ted Bundy from the face of the earth, while being against taking the life of an unborn child.
On the other side, yeah- they're screwed up. But they don't see an unborn child as a human, they see it as the property of the mother. Why they're against the death penalty is really beyond me, though. More people should read books like The Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule, Flesh and Blood, by Patricia Springer, and Tears of Rage by John Walsh.

Im a liberal, but im for both of abortion and for the death penalty.
Why does the government have the right to control a womans right to do what she wants to her body? I don't think a bunch of middle aged what men have the right to control a FEMALES body. It's OUR, the female, to make the choice. Women are the ones that have to live that burden if they choose that option.
But I guess those against abortion are ok bombing and killing people at those abortion clinics though!? And if a woman can't afford that baby, I know america doesnt want to have to pay for that lady to be welfare though... who's going to take care of that baby? hmmmmmmmm
But im for the death penalty b/c of what these murderers have done to other people and their family. But there is more things worse than being dead.

Republicans are for the Death Penalty (for child molesters, murderers, rapists etc.) and against Abortion (killing innocent life).
Democrats are for killing of innocent life and against killing the disgusting scum that hurt others.
No irony. Republicans are right. Democrats are idiots.

Irony is dead. I can tell you when it died, in 1994 when Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell and Elle MacPherson opened a restaurant in NYC.
What do supermodels know about food? They haven't eaten since 1979!

It all comes down to who deserves to live and who deserves to die. A fetus in the womb hasn't done anything to deserve being killed. A multiple murderer on death row, on the other hand, has forfeited their right to live by wrongfully taking the lives of others.
