My folks and I have an almost grown male pug puppy. When I was watching chicken run a while back, he was watching it with me! and guess what? when a scene with the Tweedys came on he barked when he saw Mrs. Tweedy's face!
Our pug barks when he doesn't like certain people, objects or noises.
Maybe our dog likes watching this movie with me?

Like I said about our dog he dislikes certain people, objects or noises he's not familar with.
But it was kinda funny to see him bark and growl at Mrs. Tweedy.

Yes, it is possible as it could be that certain sounds and sights (and scents, but not in this case) can arouse the dogs senses, especially if he senses fear or danger. The dog cannot necessarily tell what is happening on T.V. is not real and could perceive it as a threat and watches beside you because he wants to protect you.

maybe he just feels threatened by mr tweedy.. i like that movie i have the pc game hehe
