I do not know how to answer this question. Is it redundant, rhetorical or a oxymoron?

No, not at all. Artificial intelligence can suggest the logical course of action, even showing reasons why it would be best to follow that course, and stupidity will still stay on it's own path. Stupidity is very stubborn.
Tell someone not to touch a hot stove. Some will believe you, but some will stubbornly touch it to see for themselves. That's a simple example, but the list is endless.
And they wonder why they ended up with a burned finger...

It's just a matter of time - artificial intelligence will do good for
alot people, the ones who are naturally stupid won't get it.
BTW - I think I'm the only one, but I loved the movie, AI.

Artificial Intelligence is getting pretty sophistocated. I have a friend who works in robotics and sometimes mentions stuff that he's heard from others about how decisive machines can be...They can function on their own too, without human interference...Kinda, still a work in progress lol.

Artificial Intelligence only allows us to make automated idots. As I used to say on a helpdesk "building better idiots every day"

No.
Computers follow instructions exactly. Stupid people can't.
Computers give proper output if you give proper input. (GIGO: Good input, good output, and garbage in, garbage out.) A stupid person will never give proper output no matter how good the input.
George Bu**sh** is a good example of natural stupidity.

No. Fool proof systems fail to take into account the ingenuity of fools.
