It kind of looks like a thumbtack to me. It's usually black and it varies in size. I really want to put in my ear when I get it pierced, but I don't know what it's called.

They're called plugs, and they make a huge hole.

I think you are talking about plugs. But you don't get them done right away, you have to get your ears pierced and then you have to get the holes stretched by a professional. The holes will be permanent.

btw....they stretch ur ear out sweetie

just to add to that: if u don't want to stretch ur ear jus pierce em and use thumbtacks(good faux plugs)

They are called bout plugs and they really will stretch your ear out! Make sure thats what you really want to do!

well..I believe what you are referring to is not an earring...but a process of enlarging the earhole in phases...those circles you see are not earrings...but discs fitted into the hole...the size of the "earring" is actually the size of the hole in the ear!!
