i think it will end up between two power houses and got into over time and then be decided in penelty kicks.

No doubt, GERMANY. They're on home soil and after a bad showing on international friendlies before the World Cup they stepped up since game 1. I say the final will be fought between Germany and Portugal. Germany wins 3-1.

I predict a France vs Germany match. The Germans will try to squash the French early, but the French will have a firm ground in the midfield. I'm doubtful of Barthez's, the French golie, performance though. In the end, despite French midfield dominance, Ballack-Klose combination will break the French defence. Furthermore, we have seen throughout this tournament that French crowd is rather few and very quiet compared to other European crowds. Berlin is the German turf, with about 80% of the stadium filled with beer belly Germans hungry for that shining World Cup trophy. Final score: GER 3 : 1 FRA

People say Germany might win it. On top of having the home soil advantage, they also have a very good attacking/offensive side in this world cup. Since my fav (Brazil and Argentina are out), I personally would love to see Portugal win. Portugal, given that Scolari is their coach has a very good chance too. Scolari's teams haven't lost a match in how long now???
